The 2026 Clerkenwell Photography Competition
Hurford Salvi Carr are proud to be sponsoring the 2026 Clerkenwell Photography competition for the second year running. The theme this year is: My Clerkenwell: captured.
There are £850 available in prizes with 5 age categories, two of which are for children. Entering is easy and a maximum 4 10MB digital photos can be submitted via the following link: Clerkenwell Photography Entries close on the 9th of August 2026 and there will be a prize giving evening on September at the Bindery in Hatton Garden. Entries will be displayed for a month at this venue and you are welcome to walk in anytime to view the full gallery.
This annual competition is now in its eighth year and is an initiative spearheaded by local creative and lecturer Chris Walker, Clerkenwell resident and author/illustrator behind 101 Moderately Interesting Facts about Clerkenwell.
Other fellow collaborators and sponsors include local charity The Peel Institute, the Central District Alliance, creative agency leap, Hatton Garden and property investor Dorrington. The Peel is the chosen charity partner of Clerkenwell Design Week.
As Clerkenwell’s first residential estate agency with 3 local offices in EC1, Hurford Salvi Carr are delighted that this event coincides with our 30 year anniversary, celebrating our commitment to the area’s residents and stakeholders. Local initiatives and events such as this support local community cohesion and represent the varied fabric of the area.
