Ground Rent Investments

Reversionary Investments

A reversionary investment commonly known as a ground rent investment is the residual interest held in a property by the freeholder/Head Leaseholder after leasehold interests have been created.   An example is a block of flats where all the flats have been sold on individual leases. Each lease includes a payment (ground rent) payable to the Landlord (freeholder).

Benefits of Ground Rents

The accumulative income from all the flats in the above example, together with the right to receive the apartments back when the individual leases eventually expire provides an attractive investment opportunity to investor purchasers.

Demand for buying ground rent investments has significantly grown in recent years. It can be an affordable entry to the property investment market place and may provide a secure investment income with additional benefits of upward  rent reviews, management and insurance

          Hi Daniel,

Im very pleased I managed to find you as an agent specialising in the sale of Freeholds - the power of Google!!! The prices you have achieved have being well beyond my expectations you achieved a 50% uplift on the Teddington freehold and over a 100% uplift on the Surbiton freehold which I had originally offered to the lessees at less then half the price you achieved. Im very pleased with the outcome and will wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone selling a freehold. Your knowledge of this specialised area and your client base of companies who buy freeholds is second to none.

Kind Regards, Mike Daly.
