About the Apartment
A striking and splendid double height penthouse apartment with glorious terracing. Our client has meticulously refurbished the apartment with a continued “high design” in mind using the finest finishes creating a super Clerkenwell home, from the “Zampieri” bespoke kitchen to natural granite works tops, “Sicis” mosaic tiling in the bathrooms and Agape sanitaryware.
The accommodation is as impressive as the design, with a huge, double height vaulted reception room creating a wonderful centrepiece space perfect for entertaining, a bespoke kitchen, master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, further double bedroom, guest bathroom and gallery mezzanine, ideal as a home office space.
Another special and incredibly unique feature of the apartment is its external space – three wonderful terraces with exception views of the most recognised London landmarks.
About the Building
The building has an impressive past, originally a workshop and warehouse for the East City Investment company, designed by the RIBA architect Richard Seifert, a pioneering man who was one of the most successful and influential architects of his generation. He is better known for designing Centre Point, The Nat West tower, now noted as Tower 42 and the Southbank tower and for being responsible for designing more London buildings than Christopher Wren.
About the Area
What’s not to love about Clerkenwell, it has history, architecture and some of the most exquisitely designed buildings. It houses some of the most unique and quirky spaces one can find in London with many factories, office buildings, printers, haberdashers, distilleries, breweries, gemmologists, and smokehouses, now transformed into homes which amalgamate industrial and commercial spaces with the finest design finishes.

Clerkenwell has become one of London’s most vibrant destinations, regarded as London’s Avant Garde design quarter hosting one of the UK’S largest design festivals. The area is serviced by a fine selection of supermarkets, restaurant and bars which can be found on Exmouth Market, Leather Lane, Clerkenwell Road and Lambs Conduit Street.
Clerkenwell is now the envy of many as it is exceptionally central to most important London destinations. The apartment is a short walk to the Inns of Court at Gray’s Inn and Lincolns Inn as well as London financial district the City, not to mention over 5,000 tech companies and start-ups close to Old Street roundabout (known as silicon roundabout). In fact, CNN European Network, HBO, Time Warner and TikTok have recently moved headquarters to the area. Summer Street runs parallel to Clerkenwell Road and off Back Hill moment from Farringdon Underground, Mainline and soon to open Cross rail, making it one of the most accessible locations in Central London.
