About the Building

When the Aldgate regeneration started in 2014,  Barratt Homes built what today is still the tallest building in the area, comprising 27 floors of luxury apartments, a roof garden on the 25th floor which provides an ideal escape from the daily hustle and bustle of this central location, and provides spectacular views to the City and surrounding areas. The building was constructed with energy efficiency in mind and the apartments benefit from a high EPC rating. The luxurious finishes are apparent from the entrance, with the double height lobby where an attentive 24-hour concierge team is at the service of residents. This hall includes designer’s light features, furnishings and even a large tv screen to keep visitors entertained if they need to wait.

About the Area

The profile of Aldgate East has been continuously evolving for the last 10 years, practically every year there is a new landmark building appearing in the skyline. The headquarters of BT just opened last year in a brand new luxurious building, same as the renewed park that runs between that building and the Aldgate Tower. Those additions have brought new restaurants, shops and amenities to the area. Nowadays you can choose to have a drink in the superb Floratica roof bar at the top of the Canopy by Hilton, have an incredible traditional Hot Pot at the new Hotto Potto restaurant, or practise your Axe Throwing in the recently opened Battle Bar. Aside the exciting retail propositions, Aldgate East is close to some of the best know London Landmarks, from Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, to the famous skyscrapers in the City, or buzzing Spitalfields market. A walk through the green spaces and canals in Wapping is only a short walk away, and the river Thames nearby always provide fantastic scenery for a walk at any time of the year.

Transport Links

This are has some of the best transport connections in London. The recently opened Elizabeth line has two stops, Whitechapel and Liverpool Street, within walking distance of this property, making possible to reach Canary Wharf on the East, or The West End in very short time, not to mention the direct trains to Heathrow airport. Other transport links are excellent with four zone one underground stations (Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Hill, Liverpool St.) and four different underground lines (District, Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City)  within walking distance. The DLR in Tower Gateway connects to Docklands, and Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street Rail all easily accessible, providing fast rail connections with Essex, Kent and other locations outside London.
